Annapurna Base Camp Trek
4,130m Annapurna Base Camp

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek is one of Nepal's most popular trekking experiences, offering a remarkable combination of mountain scenery, local culture, and diverse landscapes. Unlike many high-altitude treks, the route takes travellers through traditional Gurung and Magar villages, terraced farmland, bamboo forests, and alpine terrain before reaching the spectacular Annapurna Sanctuary.

Beginning from the foothills of the Annapurna region, the trail gradually ascends through charming settlements and forested paths surrounded by rivers, waterfalls, and Himalayan views. Along the way, trekkers experience changing landscapes that make every day of the journey feel different from the last.

At 4,130 metres, Annapurna Base Camp sits beneath a natural amphitheatre of snow-covered peaks including Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Hiunchuli, and Annapurna South. The feeling of standing within the Annapurna Sanctuary, surrounded by some of Nepal's most iconic mountains, is what makes this trek so memorable.
